Community Solar Project (ACTION ITEM) SEC members will discuss the development of a community solar project and will consider sending a letter in support to the Moscow City Council. PROPOSED ACTIONS: discuss the potential of a community solar project and take action as deemed appropriate. 6. Update on the Energy Efficiency and Electrification Fair CCL representatives will provide an update on the EEE Fair. The SEC and discuss ideas for marketing materials/give aways. Flyers are available for registration. Leonard will be speaking at local events to promote the event. SEC will have a table at the event and plan for giveaways, guest speakers and information on local sustainable projects. 4. FY27 budget request The SEC will discuss upcoming projects that might require use of FY 2027 funds. PROPOSED ACTIONS: take action as deemed appropriate. Group will revisit this topic in March to brainstorm what local events they would like to sponsor next year. 5. Community Solar Project Kelli will provide an update on the potential for solar panels at the City Shop. PROPOSED ACTIONS: receive the report and take other action as appropriate. No update. 6. Mayor’s Earth Day Awards The SEC will discuss nominations for the Mayor’s Earth Day Awards. PROPOSED ACTIONS: discuss the awards and take action as deemed appropriate. Steve asks for the group to come back in March with nominees. 1. City Sustainability Report- Kelli Cooper Water conservation plan will be going to Council in April. Pollinator Summit is March 25th and 26th. Kelli will be hosting a table at the Fix a leak week happening at the local Library March 18th. 2. Moscow High School Subcommittee Report – They are discussing with the Superintendent the possibility of installing solar panels on the District building.
